Film Editor & Documentary Photographer

Finding the Story Between the Frames.

I am a film editor and documentary photographer, and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. I am drawn to stories that emerge from real moments, human behavior, and the quiet details between them. My journey began with editing family VHS tapes as a child, long before I knew that editing could become a profession. Over the years, working across narrative cinema and documentary, I have developed an approach built on observation, rhythm, precision, and trust in the material. For me, editing is not about imposing a story on the footage. It is about listening closely enough for the story to reveal itself. Whether shaping a feature film, documentary, or visual story, I look for the rhythm within each scene and the human detail that gives every frame its meaning.

The discipline of observation.

My work as a film editor and documentary photographer is rooted in observation, rhythm, and a respect for the truth of each moment. I look for what exists between the obvious — the gesture, the silence, the pause, and the detail that gives a story its emotional weight.

Whether shaping a feature film or working behind the camera, I believe in allowing the material to speak for itself. Editing and photography are different practices, but both begin with the same instinct: to observe carefully, find the human story, and preserve the moments that feel real.
